BlackBerry Developer Conference

This year marks the first time that RIM is hosting a developer-only conference. If you’re serious about BlackBerry development, I would highly recommend you attend the BlackBerry Developer Conference. Previously, you’d have to attend the Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES) to get this kind of detailed information, or be lucky enough to be an ISV Alliance partner and get invited to one of RIM’s developer roundtables. I always found the WES to be an odd conference, though, with its mix of carriers, IT folks, and developers… it always seemed a bit unfocused to me. A proper conference exclusively for BlackBerry software developers is a much better approach.

Due to scheduling problems I can’t make the conference this year, but please search out the Sybase/iAnywhere folks there and say hi on my behalf.
